I have and will in the future repot in bloom phals from sphag moss especially if it is not allowing satisfactory breathing of the roots. But if the moss is reasonable, I will wait until the flowering cycle ends. But it will end up in bark mix or s/h at a point. So it warrants a case by case decision.
