Oncidium Twinkle 'Fantasy'

This is my first re-bloom of this Oncidium Twinkle 'Fantasy' which I bought in bloom December 2013.

It is mounted and gets watered 2 times a day. I damaged one of the spikes watering when it was quite small. So it is not a full sized spike this flower is on. I probably need to add more sphag around the roots.
It is not yet in full bloom but I wanted to get a close up of the flower. It is a small one but I think it looks good.

Of course, the vanilla scent is present.

Those are the coolest plants. If they like your care and continue to grow you get this profusion of flowers that makes them just a joy to grow. Yours is a lovely shade of yellow.

I'm a fan of Twinkles, I killed the one I had though. I think... maybe its still with me and sick, my memory is getting a little weak... lol On the whole my Oncidiums are doing better once I started spraying them with Physan. My Bobcat is reblooming! Yay! My Sharry Baby is growing a HUGE 3' long spike, which is just starting to branch at the base and my new one Heaven Scent that I just got is starting a spike too! It'll be all Oncidiums soon and I'll be posting pictures.

This Twinkle is white with a yellow lip.
Hopefully, they will open all at the same time and be the profusion. My pink Twinkle is actually called 'Pink Profusion'. I am hoping that the 3 new growths on it flower. But they are not even showing the new pbs yet, so it is too soon to expect spikes.

Cute. I just bought a red twinkle a couple of weeks ago. It is the cutest little thing. The flowers are just starting to open on two very full spikes. I think I need one in every color! They are cute and don't take up much room.

They come in a rainbow of colors. I have white, pink and yellow. I know I can buy red and peach at the nursery. I would bet there are more colors.

Congratulations on the re-bloom on this fantastic orchid. I loved the one we had. It always made such a stunning display.
