    Cool Lc. Hippodamia x C. aclandiae

    I am the lucky new owner of a handicapped van and able to get to the nursery again by myself. I celebrated by buying myself a nice new Cattleya. To my surprise as I was paying I found out it was grown by one of the local orchid forum members. I have plans for that chunk hanging over the edge. Maybe mounted on a nice stick or some tree fern...

    First pic was in full sun and the second two in the shade. Lighting can definitely change the look of orchid flowers...

    Love the flowers. Not sure about the plant habit though. I think you're right in that it might like a mount. I'd say to make sure there is room for growth.
