I am not sure this is a spike. It flowered in October after which when the leaves dropped of I reduced watering to the point that it is S/H without water. If this is a spike do I still wait to water?![]()

i can water them in my local climate here about twice weekly or as needed when they drop all their leaves
Looks to be next year's bulb getting an early start. Would hold off watering until new roots have chance to grow unless existing bulbs show distress. Then water but no fertilizer.

a different question. interested to what are the white deposits on the LECA?. looks like too much of salt in your water.

I use RO water. So I don't know.
