thrips - how do you deal with them?

I keep them interspersed with my phals. I have them in a loose terrestrial mix, sitting in a dish with moist/wet sphag.

I have found a few products that are based on azadirachtin ( we get 3% concentration) which is one of ingredients of neem oil. may be you can try if you could get products that are based on azadirachtin

In India i guess its very easy to find neem oil , i mean not adulterated one. I wonder what brand in US is the best, any suggestion anyone? For now im using a client's sample of neem oil... I hope its real thing.
Same with sticky traps, there is no way to check if it will have pheromone.
I checked my plants yesterday, found one adult but did not see any babies.
Tomorrow morning will repeat neem treatment.

As I said on the other thrips thread, I cut off all affected spikes and drenched with Ortho rose & flower with .006% acetamiprid, which they claim is systemically active. Seems to have worked, and I have new unaffected spikes. Svetlana, would that small a concentration be safe for you? I've never seen thrips on my lemon trees or monstera...

Ready to use product with such low concentation probably wont affect me but still i work with much lower amounts. I just have to be very careful. The reason i was so afraid to use systematics is that when i was in store last summer i saw 20Lbs bags od pesticides with concentration of 20% - that would have contaminated all around me.

Update:
After 3 applications of neem oil solutions as ksriramkumar suggested ( well maybe i double conc of neem oil plus added physan 20 ... Thrips are gone at least i did not see any since last application. And here is first survivor

Great news, Svetlana. For me, acetamprid won the day!! However, I had to cut off many spikes, but I have enough survivors to make the lanai a happy place. Pics to follow, when the sun warms us up from our low of 50F/10C and I can raise the hurricane shutter...

Here's some of the gang enjoying the sun. The gold-and-red double keiki from last year has 2 spikes. The other keiki on bark put out a looonnnnnng spike, but the thrips sucked each bud dry. This is the first one to open, and it is deformed.
