    Thumbs up Cochleanthes Amazonica 'Pale Face' HCC/AOS x Chondrorhyncha Candida 'Cole' CBM/AOS

    Saw this cutie blooming on the lower bench tonight in the greenhouse. This little orchid survived the big freeze in Feb 2014 and just keeps on blooming. I wish I would have caught it in bloom earlier. This bloom is a bit wonky already, but still so pretty to me.

    Warczewiczella Lip Blush (Cochleanthes Amazonica 'Pale Face' HCC/AOS x Chondrorhyncha Candida 'Cole' CBM/AOS)

    Looks like we've been "taxonomized" again.

    Cochleanthes = Chrodrorhyncha = (now) Warczewiczella, and your plant has been registered as Warczewiczella Lip Blush
