Lockhartia Gold Speck (Lockhartia oerstedii x Lockhartia acuta)

This orchid plant is so unusual compared to what I normally grow. I love the weird leaves but really love the tiny blooms. This is the first blooming and only three flowers so far. I think it must need more water than I'm giving it. Any suggestions on growing Lockhartia orchids, please speak-up!!

I have never heard of any Lockhartia hybrid before, so this must be quite a rarity. The species I have grown in the past have not been well flowered at all, so as plants they are mainly a curiosity. Most of my orchids are expected to be capable of forming part of a display in my house - or on my Society's displays at shows etc , or of winning kudos on the plant table. I do have room for tiny things, which don't fit any of those categories, but even then I want more than the odd flower here or there . If anyone can contribute to this thread and tell us how to get a good flowering from Lockhartia , I'll take an interest ! And btw, if they can tell me how to grow them well, that would be a bonus. Looking back at what I've written , I see the answer, staring me in the face - I have never grown one really well, so can I ever expect a good flowering ?
But yes Bruce - that curious zipfastener leaf pattern must mean a plant adapted to its environment in some special way , so s to minimise water loss ? Meaning grow in good humidity but little root water ? A supposition on my part.
You may it interesting to read Jay's comments about how they may be grown - will root in chunks of tree fern, if not wet... and grow in wet forest ( high humidity) - and he gives the light as deep shade for most of the species.

Thank you!!! I stuck this plant in with my paphs because of the size of the pot and guess I got lucky. I be sure to keep humidity up around it and see if that helps!
