Paph Bellatulum

This paph arrived about 8 month ago with a bud hidden deep in a fan. While the plant started to grow 3 more new fans, the bud took this long to develop and bloom. It seemed to me that the increase of light and heat with the summer did the trick, although what I red about belletulum culture was contradictory. So any tips for the future to help it bloom???

I would agree 8 months is a long time to wait for a bud to bloom and I can not answer the question of why, maybe all the energy of the plant went into the 3 new fans instead of the bud, but then again who cares this is a real beauty!!

My paph bellatulum lives in a temp range of 82F to 65F during the warm time of the year. Once it cools off, the temps may reach 79F to 60 F. It has bloomed for me and grown 2 new growths which are doing well. I am hoping for a new flower cycle soon.

maybe the change of location, made it decided to shoot instead of bloom. and when it adjusted properly to the new location, it continue to bloom.
well it gave you some suspense for the bloom. hahaha
