Vanda yellow, shriveled roots

From what I could see as of yesterday afternoon, the roots are still pump and firm and was finally turning back to the silver stage. I did hijacked a handful of my bf's wine corks so it's not sitting on the bottom of the pot and to keep the air flow. I did however remove some of the lava and there's no problems at the present moment. I did notice that a couple of the lower leafs have some small wrinkles at the base. Is that normal? I went ahead and soaked it in a weak solution of fertilizer and it's going to be on a every other day or two watering schedule.

You did the right thing,the plant has some stress but Vanda is a though so let it be and adjust for your environment.

Here's my Mokara moon light that was in the clay pot but I switch to mount.it bloom for me 2times till now.you can see the first bloom in my care wasn't good.

Kitty, I noticed that you used a lot more media rock that I have. I only have enough rock to just cover the longest roots. Most of the roots are at surface level. If I notice that it isn't working then it will go back in a basket. I only put it in a pot because my weather is also hot and humid.

Kitty, I also forgot to mention that I received the plant last week. So the wrinkles are from the growers condition. This is all trial and error with this type of Orchid. I'm hopping that it's a successful purchase.
