Question direction of led flood light

I have a Vanda under 2 t12 cool whites and 2 10 watt (900lumen each ) flood lights red and blue am I better off having both floods on the same side of the plant or one on the front and one on the back , the t 12s are above the plant
all within 6 "

don't grow them indoors. sure some one will chime

Mickey, when i was summering my vanda outside sriram gave me advice that both sides of vanda have received light. Position of mine was such that i had to turn it so both sides receive equal amount of light. So best position would be to put vanda under all your lights.
I just googled difference between T12 and T5....
Obviously its more expensive but give more lumen...
Here is my vanda under light 4 4" T5. Before spike grew longer it was under lights now its little bit more on the side. I dont use any other light to bloom it.

That's actually an interesting question, but as chlorophylls absorb significantly in both red-, and blue wavelength, I think it would be better to illuminate the plants from above, using both, so that all plant tissues receive both.

In that case, I think the need for being directly above the plant is reduced.
