hehe We are all brainwashed! Well, more likely, we have all bought compacted Phals and know the problems associated with them. I foolishly will buy them on deep markdown, even with the compacted sphagnum moss root problems. I've learned to re-pot immediately when I see that, not to even wait for the blooms to be done, because by then the plant will be too. The poor things need to breathe! And I learned a lot of that from you, Ray!
