The cross here is Holcoglossum flavescens x Rhynchostlis gigantea. My plant has not flowered for a few years , possibly 3 , and due to some extent to some major problems I had in the past ; after those problems I started growing things at lower temperatures ; interestingly, the flowers here are considerably larger, say 50% than the previous ones. My memory says so, and when I look at the pics I took, in 2011 and 2012, this seems to be confirmed. Not that they are giants now - whatever the pollen parent says ! Perhaps an inch at the maximum ( now). To0 get an idea of the size, the plant is in a size 4 ( 4 inch) basket.
These small things are of very little value in show displays, but make greenhouse visits - either my daily ones, or by friends etc., more interesting, and I value these plants accordingly.
