    Phalaenopsis lobii in bloom. First blooming with me after almost 2 years. Single bloom but I am happy

    More blooms would be nice but after 2 years of waiting I would be very happy with the one, when it is this cute!

    Exquisite little bloom. I'm sure now that it has the hang of it, more flowers will follow next time!

    Oh how adorable! I think it is fitting with that 1 little leaf cupping it gently.

    That's how it appears to me in the photo, I know the leaf isn't holding the bloom.

    I like anything miniature in orchids, with a special feeling for mini phals. It is not unusual for any orchid to get settled in to your environment and begin blooming. I have a Phal. lobbii when I got the plant it had a bloom stem, which went on to develop blooms. The next bloom stem developed under my conditions blasted, now I'm awaiting the third bloom stem - hope the buds mature.

    This species does not seem to grow that many leaves and grows mostly roots and looks like roots can also photosynthesize

    Very nice - very difficult to grow here.
