Milassia Kauai's Choice 'Tropical Fragrance' In Bloom

This is one of my office orchids. It sits on a west facing windowsill with tinted glass that seems suited to growing orchids without burning them.

First rebloom since I bought this last year. It says it is Maroon with yellow flowers but is quite dark so it doesn't seem red at all. It grew 2 spikes with about 10 blooms per spike. I have it in a location in the office so everyone can see it, as long as people walk by.





I have 4 orchids at work. I also take care of another 5 (4 Phals and an Oncidium). I have all 4 of the Phals in spike or bloom right now.

Really interesting orchid and such nice colour contrast, the yellow tips seem to glow against the darker colour.
