    Default Phal Amabilis

I got this cute little thing a couple of years back off of Craigslist (I hope that's generic enough not to be a problem with listing a source!). It bloomed really well this spring and is just now about done. Unfortunately I didn't get good pictures when it was fully open, it was just gorgeous, all the little white flowers in a line!

Looks more like Phalaenopsis amabilis hybrid instead of species.

Azizan - It came labeled, so educate me! What is different from the species? Either way its a lovely little plant, very tidy, nice spike with lots of perfect little flowers!

Sadly, I missed getting a picture at full bloom and now its losing flowers off the back. At best it had 12 - 13 flowers on it!

You can make comparison to this website. I am quite skeptical about the slight pink at the back of the flowers. Maybe you should assess the callus and lip yourself because it is the important trait to distinguish this species. But then I am not always right.

Thanks for the input... I think you are right, its not the species. However, its a lovely little phal!

Its a bit too good to be true to be a species plant. And the petals are not quite the right shape. a touch of Phal intermedia in there ?
