This has done very well in water culture. I bought it in late fall and it had two buds on two spikes which bloomed. Now it has three blooms plus one more just about to bloom plus two more tiny buds. It has 4 or 5 growths and what looks like two new spikes or growths starting.

I thought it would be good timing to match Harvey's red one.

Looks very nice. It would bloom from old spike and should bloom almost entire summer.

Here is the whole plant in its container. There is always that amount of water in the bottom, and I spray the top part of the roots about once a day, sometimes less. Once a week I fill the container completely and let it soak overnight. I put an almost trace amount of MSU fertilizer in the overnight soak water. It is near a west facing window that has a very thin filtering curtain, plus I have some T8 lights overhead just for additional lighting. I looked at it closely yesterday and noticed that it has 4 new spikes plus two new growths.
