Hmm... good point about carrying them to the sink. Our orchids are outdoors - so I think I will try the clay for two onc and mount the other two on wood (there were four separate plants in the FREE batch). They are small, about six inches from root tip to leaf top. Gotta learn somehow. I have some fishing net (craft stock) that I think would work as well as fishing line and look pretty neat on the driftwood. I've used it on mounted broms with spag and it does very well.
Just bought a wire wine rack (shaped like a rowboat) - turned on its side it's perfect for holding (wine bottle) size clay pots! Easy to transport, can water thru it, air can flow around and below it, and I think my dends like it - but they're a kind of prissy anyway. The wine bottles stay in the house.
