Why not just pot on to a larger size, at least once ?
I r ecently saw a Cym in the wild with 24 spikes ( c.bicolor) and believe me that was an impressive sight.
Your plant is already magnificent : another two years in a pot 2 inches wider, and just imagine....

I'm with Geoff. Why repot and divide?
I am not entirely certain that I will be dividing it THIS summer, but smaller plants are easier for me to deal with. I'd love for it to become some huge mound of a plant!
