A beauty Arne, well done! Looks like your dog is protecting the plant!
Anthony is just the nicest dog ever. He has always respected our orchids and everything in our house. Our previous dog was the same.

Amazing plant and flowers
This is absolutely very beautiful Arne with the well grown plant what is your thought that your plant could be Paphiopedilum roebbelenii? based on the long twisted petals.
It's a beautiful plant and a very beautiful dog. Mine has never touched one single orchid and neither have my cats.
Thanks and your question is a good one. Paph roebelenii, which now has changed from being its own species to a variety of philippinense, was discussed by the judges at the judging session. But they all agreed that it was a pure philippinense and not the variety. Sometimes, when an award is being registered, changes of the names are made after consulting Kew. That happened to my Broughtonia sanguinea, which was first considered an alba form but that was changed at the time of registration. There were no changes to the naming of my philippinense.
