the red flower is Cycnodes Wine Delight, a cross between Cycnoches lehmannii and mormodes sinuata

the greenie cap is Catasetum viridiflavum and this is the first time it manage to bloom properly without being engulf by the monkeys

the single bulb there is actually catasetum cernuum, i divided the plant up and one of the bulb decided to grow a spike instead of a growth

try stop fertilizing after the new growth has almost attain full bulb size.....then resume fertilizing as spike started to form and slowly taper off the fert as the spike matures

Some nice ones there Ian, been thinking when you would get around to posting a few, I know how busy you are!

Will give that idea on stopping fertilizer on a few that don't seem to want to bloom for me either. Do you use any time release fertilizer on yours?

    Hi Jack
No I don't use any time release fertilizer. I just use occasional soluble fertilizer in Tue spray solutuon. Last time I used to switch between balance fert and flowering fert...but nowadays it is all just blooming fert for me. For easy work sake.

Green and white flowers are my favorite too En. Zainal....
