    Default Paphiopedilum goodefroyae

    Would like to share this red face of P. goodefroyae bought last year and now he show off his beauty unfortunately he got brown rot at the pouch and spreading , I have no choice have to cut part of the pouch but this is the outcome so sad. Fortunately another bud is coming. Also noticed the dorsal is abnormal.

    Another beauty! It is a shame you had to cut the pouch but it does give you an idea of what is inside those pouches!

    That was a unique color form. Has the dorsal appeared like that before? I also noticed that the leaves seem less mottled. Is that also your observation?

    That is a shame. Plant looks nice and healthy though. I'm sure the next one will be better!

    I agree with you inside the pouch is very pretty view but I still dont like it looks weird thanks Jack.

    Last year when my friend bought from orchid show the dorsal perfectly round and I'm not sure why this time behaving abnormally, yup.. for your info this is cultured species the leaves totally deviate from the jungle form.
