Default Zygonaria Adelaide Meadows ( I think)

Zygonaria = Zygopettalum x Neogardneria. Breeders spent years trying to get different colours into Zygopetalum mackayii or its supposed hybrids ( e.g. the John Banks I showed a day or two ago). But the Zygo genes are extraordinarily dominant and they all look like good examples, slightly different only, of that parent.
But the Neogardneria is almost all green, and that did the trick, at least as far as getting green into the sepals and petals in most of the resultant progeny.
A lot were Australian bred, which was outside my ken ( I knew all the British breeders who were trying to develop these genera, but not the Aussies ) Of course anything with Adelaide in its name is an Aussie. And there are several different names all of which are similar to what I show here - hence my slight doubt as to whether this is Adelaide Meadows, Adelaide Charm or whatever. But whats in a name.

This one keeps much of the wonderful perfume of Z.mackayi, which is a real plus.
A strong grower, 7-9cm flowers, good substance , keeps for many weeks. And once there is a good root system it will take a lot of water and grow strongly with lots of new growths - bring it on !
