This looks much greener in the orchid house, back light too strong. See what it's like when flully open. Mini Catt, no scent atm.

An interesting and unusual cross, this. The only one illustrated in Orchidwiz is very different - bckground yellow but strong pink veins all over the flower hiding most of the yellow. XSo, with only two to go on, I wonder what the "normal" and average plant will show ?

Very nice indeed. That maker has and had certainly put in a lot of time and effort in crosses. Quite remarkable work, and ended up with some real gems/miracles.
I don't think this is the correct name Geoff. 3 or 4 plants of same batch from nursery on a sale sight now as "label lost from compot or wrong label in compot originally". The nursery owner suggested this name as it looked like some he had flowered from the cross. This I've seen from the actual cross are fair removed from this & I also doubt if a "normal" flower could be highlighted because of the variable.

That's correct. All the flowers I've seen (listed as label lost) are very, very similar. I don't think it's a mericlone but a seedling cross that is producing flowers so close they look like clones. I keep researching particular breeding lines from different countries trying to get a clue. Nothing so far.

Very interesting indeed. So far, I can only see 1 photo of the flower of Rth. Rosella Free Angel 'kate', but no other cultivars.
There are quite a few very good ones I've seen in private collections that haven't made the internet as yet. Lots look somewhat like this but not really close enough to confirm the name.
