It's funny with cats and orchids! We have two little critters and before I started growing orchids no plant was left alone - leaves were eaten, torn of for play etc. But no orchid has ever been touched and I even have a Pinocchio stretching way out of the windowsill ready for a suprise attack - but no, not a scratch.. I wonder why? Maybe they've realised it would result in the express way of the balcony!

I think cats give us the same torturous relationship as orchids - it all has to be on THEIR terms! But we love them so much we don't care, and they reward us handsomely if we follow their wishes!
