I thought they were more green - or is that the exposure on your photo?
The bloom is upsidedwon. It is green when it is just open up, it then turns more yellow when it ages. Mine is blooming constantly.

Qing, I know the photo looks upside down, but I shot it in a plant-rightside-up position. This is how it set the flower. The plant is mounted and this was the direction it hung when the spike developed. It's weird. I can flip the post, but I really stuck to what the plant presented.
As for color, this fellow started opening yesterday morning, so it hasn't been open that long. It's not very green though.

Probably cuase the stalk of the flower is being supported by the leaves???
Or maybe your light source was behind or above the plant. Mine never bloom in a good picture orientation either.
