    Default Incantation X Shadow Magic

    A few months ago I got a group of 10 paphs from a vendor in CA. 7 of the 10 were in spike. One had the terminal bud blasted when it arrived and they replaced it....... with one in bud!!!! So, 8 of 11 from the same place in bud. Way cool, and I will be posting their pics soon. I know, not soon enough.

    This is one of the ones that was not in spike. I have actually gotten it to spike.

    The first pic is from 10/14 when I initially noticed the bud. The other pic is from today and shows the whole plant as well.

    If the time-to-bloom vs bloom longevity theory is correct this one may well last FOREVER!!!! :0

    Wow a group of 10 it's a sight I guess, I can imagine to see a group blooming.
    Well I hope we will see them soon.....

    I got and angraecum germynianum that started with spikes 2 weeks ago and they are still 2 millimeters...and since I look at it at least twice a day is taking foreeeeeever

    I think Katie (desertgal) was going to get some from the same vendor. I have done business with them and they are quite good to deal with. That is where I have gotten a couple of my charlesworthii crosses. They do great vinis. Hope to see this one open soon.

    Mine arrived yesterday. All healthy plants and great packing. All are in bud and 2 of them are almost open. I will post pictures when they open fully.

    I figure the spike started at least a week before I say it so 2 months from spike initiation to fully open bloom. Worth the wait, eh?

    Now THAT is a dark vinnie and check out those lashes. No mascara was used to torture this paph.
