Pat, the leaf spread on mine is only 3"...the entire plant is 6" high. And yes, the flowers are fragrant in late afternoon. It used to be classified as a Saccolabium.
Julie, Vandaceous orchids are challenging here but we have a greenhouse at work...that's where my vandaceous collection has been moved! Not that hot this time of year but lots of light and humidity is about 60-75%. They thrive in summer but slow dramatically during the winter as the temps at night drops to 60 F. Despite this, I do have an Ascocenda coming into spike right now.
