My first attempt at hybridizing

Well, its not really my first...I attempted to make several crosses using my Burrageara Living Fire as pod parent but none of the crosses took.....maybe that hybrid is sterile or at least incompatible with the others I used.

Meanwhile as another attempt, I decided to try crossing my Odontonia Yellow Parade (female) with Wilsonara Tigersette....seems like a pod is forming! At last! Now for the waiting game. Here are the parents and the pod.

Just to let you know.....these crosses take between 30 and 60 days for pollenation and will need to be on the plant for 11-12 months
