I have rothschildianum and It was NBS 3 years ago! keeps on growing, but no flowers in sight yet...How are you growing yours? I am going to switch some of my plants to s/h. Would this one be a good candidate?
Nice bloom, Steve! Very stately.

I have seen roths do very well in s/h but 1 of mine did not take to it.Probably my fault but i will not risk another for a while.
Getting roths to flower can be pretty difficult but some of the newer clones are "easier".This roth is multi-growth ,basically 3 growth with a couple of new starts .It had a cooler/drier period in my G/H for about 6 weeks @ the end of September. It was watered 3 times but no fert.Temps were upto low 90's during the day but dropped to low 50's to high 40's on numerous occasions.
Then it was into my growroom where it had highish light (about 2500fc) but watered weekly but no fert.It spiked about 3 weeks after being moved to the growroom.
Fert is my own mix(Vintage Bat Guano) & calcified seaweed added. This is allowed to brew for a month or so before i use it.It does smell but the plants seem to love it & there is less chance of salt buildup. The strength of the fert is about 100PPM of nitrogen & about 225PPM total TDS.PH is about 6.8 to 7.1.
The parentage of the plants can make a big difference to how they are treated & also the size @ which they will flower.
This has worked for me & my conditions but probably will not suit your conditions.
OMG! That is to die for!
very crisp stripes!
Very nice!
Very, very nice. Thanks for sharing!

Very handsome! Elegant bloom. Love the striping and the wax "mustache".
Fantastic, reminds me of a zoot suit!
