Ok I'm calmed down now LOL...it happened so fast! Last year, this same plant blasted when I had it shipped in bud with another one from Toronto in the winter time (silly me). I think the heat pack caused it to blast, so I was excited to see the bloom this year. Weird that the other one I got didn't blast.

Hey what do you think caused the bud blast in my albino paph maudiae. The entire spike developed in my house so it was accustomed to my growing conditions. I can't think of any reason why this plant would abort in high bud. And my other maudiaes didn't abort their buds yet (knock on wood).
