    Default Phal. schilleriana 'Pink Butterfly' AM/AOS

    Got this one two years ago in a 2" pot. First blooming for me. This species seems to like a slightly drier media than most phals. I grow it in Hydroton. Smells rose-like and slightly spicy like a miltoniopsis. Plant is in a 3" pot.

    Wow! Those leaves are great...I love the lip---and bonus---a spicy rose smell! Nice one.

    Boy, it is going gang busters for a first bloom. I have seen pics of specimins that rival some of the huge whites in quality and numbers of flowers.

    I like the silvery-red roots on mine: quite elegant.
