That yellow one honestly looks like a woman's shoe- its just lovely. That must've been fun taking those pictures!! I'm not familar w/ your situation- do you work in a greenhouse?

Well, Becky, no, I don't work in a greenhouse. I work in a hospital, which is a much more dreary and depressing environment (with very few orchids) .

These pictures were taken at an open house at a greenhouse a few hours away from us. My husband likes to photograph so he wanders around doing that while I wander around filling up my big box full of new plants--that's why I don't have the names of most of them either (sorry again). When I take pics I usually get a pic of the label after getting the flower so that I know what it is later. He doesn't do that. He took about 2000 pictures that day though.

That's what I do. People always look at me as if I am a loony as well, but it's so much easier to try and keep track of what you are photographing that way! I'm glad that it is not just me....
