Julie, if you already have a terr. then just put the little bugger in there. It will like the humidity and light of that location much better. The cup it is in was only for transport and was originally a sucker off a root of the mother plant. It had been separated for a while and I fully expect it to root for you. I was told by one person that if I cut off and dropped a leaf on the wet sphag that IT would root as well, just like african violets can do.
