Okay, I am not 100% sure I have the slide show fixed, but it is displaying again. I hope it doesn't disable the home page again. I will let it run over night and see what is going on with it tomorrow. I will then enable the new software again and see if I can find out what is causing the confusion. Keep your fingers crossed for me! lol.

I noticed a problem with inserting links and pictures when doing a Quick Reply. The window that pops up is the lobby (http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchidtalk/, rather than http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid.../ieprompt.html It's fine with regular posting though.

What browser are you using. I just did a quick reply and clicked on the globe with the link and it posted just fine. See here:

I use FireFox Browser. Maybe it is a IE problem for you?

I just tested it on IE. Thanks for letting me know. I am not sure why this is not working. More fixing to do... lol! Glad to see it works on the regular reply and using bbcode.

I am waiting on the publisher. I have approved the final copy of the text, but because of a font color issue that happened with the printer side of production, they have halted the printing until they can figure out what caused the color issue. I am still waiting to hear when it will finally be released. It is actually very frustrating because it is totally out of my control at this point. I promise to post an update just as soon as I have 'good' news.

LOL. I believe the saying goes "Jack of all trades - master of none." I really have always enjoyed anything dealing with design. Computers have become a natural extension of the designer's toolkit. The most difficult part of managing the forum is keeping up with the changes in the software. Different upgrades work with different browsers, etc... So, many times, I may not see a difference that someone using IE or Opera or etc... may see. That makes it a bit difficult, but I really enjoy reading and learning here with everyone on the forum. The difficult parts eventually fade away and the joy of sharing and learning with everyone here take over for me.
