I am a bit of a Bl Morning Glory nut.
Very nice Ron! I love Richard Mueller everything. Does it bloom more than once a year (like most other Muellers)??
Not a Mueller. My mistake..but it sure is BEAUTIFUL!
I have a dozen or more Richard Mueller crosses and they bloom on every new growth. The Bl Morning Glory crosses are new to my collection and time will tell if they bloom more than once a year for me. They are all first time bloomers for me.
Here are a couple of pics for you...
1st... Bl Morning Glory... [B nodosa x Laelia purpurata]
2nd... Blc Morning Song [Bl Morning Glory x Lc Melody Fair]
[fluorescent lighting]
3rd... Blc Morning Song
[exact same plant/blooms as #2 but under Quartz lighting]...
sometimes... different light makes us see things differently... lol...
Regards... Scotty.
Beautiful blooms you both have Ron and Scotty.
Cheers,
BD :B
Thanks Scotty...I also have Blc Morning Song I wish mine had a deep purple lip...mine is a bit different than yours in that the outside of the lip is also colored. When I purchased it, it was in bloom and I had more than a dozen of them to choose from.
Scotty does your Morning Glory have a clonal name? It has a stunning lip!!! Mine is the 'Remar' clone
I also have Morning Glory x C Hawaiian Jewel...I love the lip but the form of the flower could be much better. I will give it another blooming to see if it improves.

Sorry Ron... the Morning Glory is in a friend's collection... and she hasn't given it a clonal name yet... I hope to have a division of it next year...
Scotty.
