This is actually from P. violacea Murtoniana var . 'Leprechaun' CCM/AOS X P. bellina var. 'Ponkan' AM/AOS
First flowering.
Of course it has a very strong scent.
Just for contrast.
Phal bellina
Phal violacea.

Very nice Steve! What is the scent like?
Very nice, what does a violacea x bellina smell like?
Oh and that violacea if yours is stunning, love that colour![]()
Beauties all three!
Cheers,

To me the scent is completely different to it's 2 parents , more floral.
Interesting! I would have guessed one or the other would dominate. Shows I don't know much about the olfactory sense.

I'm waiting when the same cross I have in S/H flowers...
Actually I thought it would be colored more like 'Ponkan'...
Very interesting pattern.
very nice!
Well an update to a new bloom that has developed in my green house(the first piccie was in my grow room).
Temps are cooler & the diurnal difference is far greater in the green house.
Much better colour saturation.
Oh, yes, very nice bloom.
