    Smile My suprise orchid

    Hello All;
    I'm just back from vacation and with a suprising new plant. I don't know how up everyone is on this one, so I thought this 'newbie' would try a "do you know what it is?" I have found out the basic name....do any of you know the cross?

    It's a Spathoglottis hybrid, but I don't know what the cross is. I have a suspicion that Sp. parsonii is in the lineage...

    Whenever I find anything close to this color combo it seems to have java beauty as part of the cross, and one that was very close had the parsonii cross in there too.
    Guess it wasn't as original as I thought. lol

    I love the colours - it looks like raspberry ripple ice cream. Can't add much to the guessing though - I am clueless!

    I love the shape of the flowers and the colors. Spathoglottis is probably right on.
