Well this time I got the camera out in time
Last spike I waited too long. The buds fortunately were somewhat attractive in & of themselves.
Like most relatives in the stanhopea alliance, Paphinia 'Majestic's flowers are rather short lived ... generally about a week. Getting a shot was a bit of a pain in the butt -- would have looked better with a black background but didn't feel like tacking one up on my ceiling. [Had to take the plant out of the terr as the flowers face downwards.] No scent that I noticed. Flowers are quite large -- about a 5-6" span.
