Beautiful, Cin! I keep getting tempted to try one. Concerns over whether it would get too big for my space and more importantly whether I can meet its growing requirements has held me back.

Woohoo - that is one awesome blooming baby!! We were hoping to find one in Myakka but they had none for sale at the time. What a gorgeous orchid!

Great blooms.
14 SPIKES!!!...![]()
I love this color, but it is too big for me in my little grow area. Ascocentrum ampullaceum Var. aurantiacum has bright orange flower, but the size is a lot smaller, but I can't seem to find it.

14 spikes!?!? Sounds like some sort of world record to me!! Did I mention that I WANT TO MOVE TO SOUTH FLORIDA? haha...

Hello Cin,
your plant really is impressive.
I have a question for you, as you seem to know what you're doing.
I just got a Ascocentrum pumilum. Can you tell me what you do in the way of care? The plant is mounted.
And I hope it doesn't grow to the proportions of yours, because then I'll have trouble finding room for it.
