Exactly! I think I have said this before, but they remind me of primitive portraits, where the head is like 3x bigger than the body! LOL!Originally Posted by Brutal_Dreamer

Jason, I looked at the Vanguard (glaucophyllum x roths). It is nice, but the color is much more yellow, and it pickes up the roths stripes a bit too much for my taste. The pouch on this one is so nice and the color is perfect. It appears to have been just dipped (like an Easter egg) in its color and let hang to dry. I also like the tiny spotting in the pouch and along the petals. Thanks for the info, just the same. I feel like I learned something by comparing the parents to the product of their cross.![]()
Cheers!

hmm....I haven't gotten sick of the flowers on mine...it's nice to have a blooming paph (they are so rare for me in my collection)...most of my paphs are just vegetables....ya know, I wonder how they'd taste as a salad.

Check out Paph. Landmark as well (glauco x sanderianum). The petals droop down abound 6" but it's another variation on the color scheme.Originally Posted by Brutal_Dreamer

I know Landmark. Beautiful! I forgot all about it. The pouch is more purple, but that is okay 'cause I love the color purple! Thanks Jason!Originally Posted by Jmoney
