    Default Xylobium varigatum

    I received this in trade last fall. It is a Central to South American species. It wasn't in the best shape when I received it last fall but I have been babying it and it has responded with a spike. The flowers are held just above the P-bulbs.

    It looks as if it is very fragile. Soft blooms? What does the plant look like. I don't think I have seen a Xylobium before.

    Leaves similar to Lycaste aromatica. I didn't make a whole plant shot for it looks shoddy. It look like that since I received it. It is developing new growth so hopefully I can keep the new leaves looking nice.

    The flowers remind me a bit of some types of dendrobiums
