I used to save the praying mantis egg cases when we lived in MD. and put them in the garden we had loads of them. Don't see any in Fla. I miss their prehistoric look.

very pretty! those are the best to have around.
In the earlier part of the summer / late spring, we had several babies on the plant on the back porch. They were tiny, only an inch or so long - just new babies. I have not seen any of the adults. I think they look so interesting. We used to have brown colored ones around here too. I have not seen any of those in a few years though. Thanks for the pic!
