I wonder if there is a difference between an alba and an aurea. This one could be classified as an aurea for it is all yellow but botanically alba is lack of the dark pigment so it is an alba. The leaves are a solid green, lacking the mottling of the normal color form.

I keep it with my Catts for the winter months and drop the light level to Onc level for the summer. I grow it intermediate but if you can keep it warmer, it might bloom all year. I have heard from Floridians that theirs bloom all year. All my Psychopsis take a break from blooming in the short, cool days of winter. I water 2 - 3x per week in summer once a week in winter. Fertilize regularly. It is growing in bark mix.
