At least you bloomed it ... I kill paphs and phrags no matter what I try ot do
at least it is growing well for you. perhaps its next bloom will be superb.
My Paph Delphi (philippinense x delenatii) is exceedingly hard to grow (another intersectional cross). It grows sloooowly. Also it keeps loosing its leaves (maybe some roots too) and the old bloomed growth has died off, so now I have two separated growths in the same pot. I don't know why I bought it has a previously bloomed one, I didn't know some come out microwaved at the time. The label looks ancient too so the previous grower must of had it or a long time.
You can always grow it as a foliage orchid![]()
i know how you feel. ive got a crop of stonei x greyi right now and many of them bloomed out totally undesirable. a few winners tho! its a good thought in the breeding with the two whites and maybe hoping for long petals... the same happened with kolopakingii x niveum..
Send it for a ride on a short yellow bus. That may scare it into blooming normally.
Poor little thing! It's trying so hard and all it gets is bad vibes from you! Place a clear crystal next to it and it will soon reward you! Judi
Dancing around a stump at midnight with chicken feathers in your hair might work ? Or get you a ride in the (Other Short Bus )... Gin
