    Default Bc. Little Mermaid 'Janet' first blooms

    Hello E1;
    This is my 1st totally earned flowers. This baggie baby has been on my porch for awhile now and it is a fabulous grower. The first sheath was blind, this time I got three pretty buds that have now bloomed and smell so sweet first thing in the morning.

    Gorgeous plant. The actual name is Little Marmaid registered in 1997 (C. walkeriana x Bc. Maikai)

    Yeah, the scent is so faint and sweet and only comes around in the morning. You have to be up early for this one. The shimmer didn't show up on it. Thanx for the spelling correction, about one in three is misspelled lately that I buy.

    Lovely color -- the term "bag babies" still makes me think of bag ladies--but your Bc. is ever so much nicer than a bag lady. (The name just always makes me chuckle--and now a mermaid bag lady--there is an image for those of you with active imaginations . . . )
