Blc. Rustic Spots Seedling Question

I bought this thinking I would mount it, but it is potted in a plug surrounded by sphag and I'm afraid it might be too much stress mounting it right away. I've never had a Catt in moss before, and would really rather it be mounted or potted in bark. Any suggestions?

I was going to tell you to put it in bark right away, but maybe someone from the East Coast should chime in here. I am in Florida and I can put just about anything in bark and a nice fern basket and they thrive. Your humidity may be changes things.... Any east coasters?
It does look quite healthy....good luck with it.

I would put it in bark, but then I have all of catts in bark mix.

I'm not a big fan of catts in spagh. It stays too wet for too long.
My microclimate tends to get hot and very dry and pure spagh is still too wet for my taste - at least where catts are concerned.

From my experience: If you want to mount, do it early on so that the plant "tunes" itself to mount growth. Once a plant matures and establishes itself to a particular culture, it tends to sulk for some time after a drastic change and it has to re-adapt to its new environment.
