Poor little guy. I guess it doesn't bother him? He looks happy - as far as snakes can look happy, I suppose. What kind of snake is he?
Cheers,

Bet it is from an injury, it is pretty what kind is it ? .
I have a misfit a little parakeet with what is called slipped claw the back claw goes forward instead of back it was with a lot of others, weaned to young and half starved is fine now . Gin
Only people with kind hearts love the misfits!!!! There are a lot of kind hearted people on this forum.

What a cute little corn snake. I think Gin is right, it does look like an injury. I had a Collared Lizard (nasty little piece of work) with exactly the same shaped kink in her tail. The previous owner did it through inexperience. My Corn Snake is about six feet long. She was a rescue case as well, found on the back porch of my local aquarists shop. The shop owner knew me well enough to offer her to me. Good luck with your latest critter.
6ft! I hope this one doesn't get quite that big. LOL There are some beautiful color morphs out there. What color is yours, Steve?
I was rather thinking "injury" myself. Too bad a chiropractor couldn't help out! Makes my back hurt just thinking about what discomfort a kink like that could cause.
Critter seems quite inquisitive but, as a result of the kink, is incredibly clumsy for a snake.
He's lovely! I must admit that the prospect of getting to 6ft would be a bit off putting!
A bit hard to photograph with my point and shoot, but you get the general idea of her color. She's very gentle despite her size, even my three year old nephew has held her, under supervision of course.
Cool picture , pretty colors and setting . Gin
Interesting! I don't believe I've ever seen that morph before.
