    The name BLC Helen Brown is not defined by colour it is defined by its breeding which can produce Cattleyas of varying colours. Mine opens Green and then turns yellow and is just as the breeder stated and you have observed.

    The variety you have described is most likely BLC Helen Brown " Sweet Afton"
