More Smiles in the GH

PAL, my dad had 3 or 4 phal's and he lived in Florida, so they always flowered and he did almost nothing to them, they were soooo beautiful when they flowered......he died 4 yrs ago and that is when I got into it and began with Phal's but now I want to try my hand at other varieties that might make it here in Michigan....like you in Maine, summers are too short and winter daylight just doesn't help things.

Yep, the climate creates a lot of problems. I bought my first orchid, a Phal., in memory of my Mom on Mother's day 2 years ago and now have over 100 of different kinds but mostly Phals.
