My secret is the same as any of us trying to do our best at growing nice plants because it makes us feel good....trust me, I've knocked off plenty. When I only had 3 or 4, I asked myself, "So what's so hard about growing these things!" Then 20 or 30 down the road and I realized I wasn't so smart after all! I've lost several to crown rot...hoping the remaining base will grow a keiki. Then there was snails and subseuent bacterial stuff and well, all of you have been there and done that. Now I'm using RD-20 (Physan-20) and things seem to be much better. Bottom line we all raise those varieties that are "easy" for us. For some Miltonias are a snap, for me, well, I have a burial weekly! And to all of you, THANKS for the wonderful compliments....they keep me going to do a better job!
